Downloaded RSD Lite v4.8 and installed it.
Downloaded SHADO_X6_2.3.34_SYSTEM-ONLY.sbf

Hold volume down/camera/power on phone and get flash on screen.
Plug phone in to USB and RSD goes through 3 steps:
1. create image file (just under 2 minutes)
2. flash (about 3 1/2 minutes)
3. reboot (I leave it plugged in to the USB until it says 100%)

RSD then gives me a message saying to manually power up this phone. The phone has never lost power and displays a M on a red background. So I do a battery pull and turn it back on and get the same M for several minutes. Then I turn it back on with the home button held down. I get the red M but never get the Andriod character. The M just cycles on and off as long as I'm holding the HOME button or comes on and stays on if I release HOME.

What have I done wrong? Please?

not sure why you're SBFing...but if you're getting the red M logo it seems like you WERE on GB and wanted to get back to Froyo...well you want the FULL SBF file...not sure where you got the one you;re using...

but go here Index of ./DroidX/SBFs/2.2/

and download the bottom file...try SBFing again...

I was trying to install GB .595 and it bootlooped. I was told to SBF and reinstall, so...

Thank you for the link, I'll try the file you suggest.

reapply what? your apps?....you should have backed up your apps using Titanium Backup for that....though SOMETIMES your apps will sync themselves through your Google account...it doesn;t always work for me..

I think the apps will reinstall alright, I'm mainly thinking of all my settings. I'm not familiar with Titanium backup. I've never needed it before.
