Help heat problem

Hey guys, noobie here.
I have recently bought the galaxy s2 and was just wondering if your s2 starts to heat up when playing games? Cause my one starts to heat up sometimes, not all the time but some of the time:S do you guys have this problem? And can it be fixed?

mine does too. usually if I play for 30 mins or more. since i put a case on it has been better so I think it is because heat from my hands

screen causes a lot of heat, plus the chips get hot.

Not really, you could underclock your cpu which would reduce the heat, but really slow the phone down...
I dont really see it as a problem, electronics get hot, the faster they are the hotter they get. My desktop CPU is overclocked and sits at 60-70degreesC
I'm not trying to hold onto that though

Yeah mine gets warm aswell. I just got my other G2 replaced as it got REALLY REALLY hot. Like seriously so hot you couldn't hold onto it without it hurting.

My new ones a lot cooler.

how long do you have to play on your phone for it to get warm?? and is it just the top half of the phone where it gets warm yeah?

Mine gets warm, front & back just under the back camera sensor in the middle.

It gets hot if also charging at the same time.

My galaxy s2 gets warm too about 46 celsius! But my bigger problem is that after half hour of gaming my hands get numb and i think that the s2 electrocuting me a little bit all the time or maybe is for the warm i don't know! Anyone has this problem? I really don't know what to do?

Your hands get numb? I would say that's from holding the phone and/or the temp of the phone. I would be really surprised if the phone was electrocuting you, though anything is possible. The phone's circuit should be complete, and shielded so not to pass current aside from through that circuit. It doesn't include the end user in it's current flow typically, unless it's a gag phone. Just my take.

So far (touch wood!), I've had no heating issues with my SGS2 which is now a week and a day old. I don't tend to game on it much, apart from Angry Birds for maybe 15-20mins at a time and usually leave it to charge overnight and it never heats up that I notice

i'm sure it depends on what game your playing.
anything graphics intensive is gonna require more processing hence more heat.

i found playing robo defense on my htc desire would heat up so much that it would turn off.
i know its a SGS2 thread but just offering a comparison.

hopefully my SGS2 comes next week
