I've noticed that as well.
My phone has now gone from random rebooting to random shut downs after a battery pull. Woke up this morning and the phone was off. Thankfully, I woke up before my alarm was supposed to go off and caught it.
About 30 minutes ago, it shut down on its own again. Should I take it in to a corporate store or call in?
I'd try doing the factory reset. What's the harm? At least then you'll know if it helps. I'd also call Verizon Corporate and just talk to someone in the tech support department and be very specific with them and tell them what you're going to do. Make sure they record the information.
Then try the reset and if it doesn't work, call them back and tell them what happened. From there, they should understand you've done what you can and the ball is in their court.
Corporate usually seems to handle things a bit better than the stores, imho. Just be sure they understand what you've done, even if you have to repeat yourself...
