So I bought the Tmobile G2x and i loved it, everything about it was amazing except for the battery life, the first day i got it i played with it a little then charged it up all the way. Then I woke up at 7 turned it on and tried to see if I could conserve the battery, I downloaded juice defender and it was saying that I was getting 1.45 better battery. Then I went to school and checked my phone every once in a while for texts and played a total of 10 minutes of words with friends, when I got home I surfed the internet for about 15 minutes, and then played angry birds for like 50 minutes and at 330 my battery was at 4%. Now it might just be me but thats about moderate usage and i only got about 8 and a half hours with it. Do you think that its a battery issue or is this just how the phone is?

Hey there. I got my G2x the day before it came out in stores, so I've had it for awhile and I feel your pain. The phone is nearly perfect except for the battery life. So I read that to fix it you should do a factory reset, even if the phone was right out of the box. I was hesitant, and didn't do it until a couple weeks ago. But afterwards, after reinstalling my apps and settings and everything, it works much better. My battery life has probably extended 2-4x, depending on usage. I also have LauncherPro on it, which likely uses more than the standard launcher, and my battery is still great. Give it a shot. I have Ultimate Juice/Juice Defender too, which is ok, but I don't think it did anything major. Good luck!

Thanks the unfortunate thing is i returned it 2 days after cause I was impatient, I was thinking of going back and buying it and now I most likely will do that, and if that doesn't work I was going to try to root it because it allows you to delete all of the dumb apps that take up so much space like Navigation one, Tegra gaming, and quikchat, I heard with moderate usage you can get like 20 hours per day
