So i found this tutorial and followed it and it was successful for me, and now i have android 2.2! But then i read from somewhere else that says ----->

You will get a NO UIM CARD error is you re-download titanium backup, please dont open clockwork, titanium backup or z4root once froyo is installed. IT WILL BRICK YOUR PHONE. However there IS a fix. If you get the error, msg me and I will give you a link to reverse it."


Is it true i can not re-install titanium backup nor z4root?

this 2.2 is a POS...dont nobody install this, if you want 2.2 install cm6 it is 2.2 froyo...cause any other you will get the uim error...just a warning...

so the one i have is not real or whats wrong, because i did not get any message when i installed z4root again.

is it cm6 you have install? and btw none of the 2.2 are official...plus the one from the video is not even overclock, cm6overclock to 710mhz...

yeah, but you would hate to be in a bad cituation and your phone decides to have a uim error and you couldnt call for help...i had install that also before cm6 or cm7 had came out just totest it and a couple of days had got the error...

First off pardon my language.... this is the shittiest video recording I have ever seen....Lol! Secondly do not dl this please use Cm6 or Cm7 as they are stable roms... sorry for the late post but I hope this helps someone!!!

Here is the one I use, it is 2.5.1.8 which can be used for Icarus and all other roms..... May I make a suggestion.. Maybe you should read a little bit more of the forums before you try any flashing. I dont recommend you try any of this unless you fully understand what it is your doing.... Im not trying to be rude,I am just trying to help you out a bit

thos the files you going to need to install cm7...

on CWM use the version that rom manager installs. One its easier for you to install, two isaac no longer supports anything other than 3.0.0.5.

Other than that everyone has pointed you in the right direction.

You click the very first option, Flash ClockworkMod Recovery.
