Has anyone tried this app on their MyTouch? I played with it for about 10 minutes last night, REALLY liked it, then found it had fubared my phone really bad. Major lags and FCs galore. I not only had to disable it to get things right again, but had to fully uninstall it.

I haven't seen any similar experiences posted anywhere. Not sure if it was a bad download, or if it was conflicting with Better Keyboard, or what.

haven't tried it but have gotten real careful of downloaded apps - started reading the users' comments usually posted with the apps and noticed more than a few were negative experiences

before reading them, i had assumed they'd only allow positive posts to remain up
I was ready to spring for the Coptic GPS maps download (iirc it was $49) when i read the comments - lot of users were reporting map detail was 10 years old and way out of date

you might go back and check the user comments listed with that app

Oh, I always do that. Sometimes it's the only way to find out what the app really does.

I even went back looked afterward, and see any similar comments. I'm gonna email the dev about what happened, see if they have any suggestions.

I guess it was just a bad download. I emailed the dev, immediately got an auto-reply saying they'd pulled it from the Market (although it's still there?) due to a glitch in the Market system, but the trial version was still available for download.

I dl'ed that, and it seems to be working just fine.

i downloaded it, seems to be working fine.. gonna take some getting used to though. not sure if i like it yet though
