Root [MOD] Remove slide lock when pattern lock is set up (.595 only)

This is for stock GB 4.5.595.

This will remove the slide lock when you have a pattern lock set up. Thanks to Fabolous for pointing me in the right direction.

So, how do I get the other mods back? Apply them over this? I want the colored battery, crt-off and 270 degree. Is it possible?

As far as I'm concerned, you don't have nearly enough "Thanks" for all the little mods you spit out constantly.

If I had anywhere near the time or energy, it'd be pretty cool to build a "kitchen" where you could cook up your own .zip file depending on the mods you wanted and the base framework you wanted to start with.

Why do you need a zip?

Copy the APK into /system/app, change the permissions, and reboot. Done.

Well... a zip file won't help you, then. That's the install process. The zip file will just automate it - there's nothing mysterious that the zip file accomplishes, it just runs a script to manipulate the copies to and from the file system.

I would like the settings menu , contacts and the dialer one out of this zip. Can I just extract the apk's and replace them in r/e and reboot and be good?

I restored my nandroid backup and all is good now. Don't know what happened.

You will definitely need to apply the deodexer before applying a mod, now that you've restored a backup or you will end up with FC errors or stuck in boot animation again.

Get this deodexer file on your sd card:
GB_2.3.3_4.5.595_Deodexed.zip

Once you have done this, get into CWR and apply the deodexer; it will take 3-5 minutes to boot into the OS. Once in the OS, you can go back into CWR and apply the mod with no issues.

No need to go beyond 1.2.0, unless you want all those other languages.....if you don't need them, then use 1.2.0; 1.2.3 will just take up more memory on your phone, not much, but still more.
