Proporta Case for my TF101

I'm using this sleeve from meritline for $5. It's a nice snug fit for the tab/dock combo and still fits nice for the tab only. I like the top loading because i can easily charge the tab alone if it's in upside down or the combo if it's right side up.

I've got a Proporta case that was sold to me when I got my TF from Currys. It's not great. I mean, it does the job, but I find I have to coax the chunky zip around the edges of the tablet. This means the top corners are quite harsh / hard where the corners of the tablet force themselves into the zip and I'm also mildly concerned about what ongoing zipping / unzipping is doing to the condition of my Transformer.

Hi, is it the exact same case? If so, thats not what I want to hear

Zippers and a tight fit do not play well together. That's why I stick to cases with flaps.

I agree...The zippers will scratch the surface or edges of the device, as most of these cases don't do much to cover the zippers.

I got one of these: KENSINGTON TECHNOLOGY GROUP SP9 Reversible Sleeve for 10.2-11" Netbooks : Laptop/Notebook Accessories | Dell Canada

can't really tell from the picture, but basically it's a flap that gets pulled over the opening. it covers it pretty well, and is held due to the elasticity of the material.

it's too big, and there's some slack (even when the keyboard is attached), and doesn't look that great, but it's light and doesn't add much bulk, which is important to me, as I carry it in my briefcase.

Well, its arrived, and whilst I agree it is snug around the top corners, I'm pretty happy with it. For protection whilst travelling, in a bag or backpack, this will do the job nicely. It also has the benefit of "just enough" space to carry my Kindle at the same time.

In the absence of any 3rd party TF101-specific cases/pouches, this will do me for now.

Kensington arrived. Very form fitting and snug with the combo and form fitting and not as snug with just the tablet. Can't beat it for $5. The horizontal loading one I posted above with the red trim is a touch larger all around. You just have a longer wait if you order it.
