Little issue/annoyance I'm having with the Amazon App Store...wondering if anyone has felt the same way and has a workaround...
So you download ANY of the apps from Amazon (either a "free for the day" paid app or just a "regular" free app like the lite version of many apps to try) and decide, for whatever reason, you don't want to use it and uninstall from your phone or back it up for later use. In any event, it is off your phone.
HOWEVER, even if uninstalled from your phone it is still associated with your Amazon account online (and seen through your phone) as an app that you had previously downloaded and/or "purchased." Makes sense...but HERE is the PROBLEM...
I keep getting prompted to download or install or update the app that I NO LONGER WANT and have uninstalled from my phone. The unwanted app is sorta "in queue" with the other apps that I have purchased or I am using. So when I look at the list of "my apps" I have the ones that I want and use...but ALSO the ones I uninstalled and don't care about any more.
For example, I downloaded the free version of a skee ball game "Roller Lite." The PAID version then became available and I download that so that I, obviously, no longer need the Roller Lite version on my phone. I uninstalled the Lite version BUT the Amazon App Store ANNOYING still has it listed as an app associated with my phone.
Is there anyway to remove these uninstalled/unwanted apps from the general list of apps that you ever downloaded on your phone?? I would like it GONE from the list of apps...would rather NOT have to look through the list of my apps...next week...next month...next YEAR...have to scroll through junk and other unwanted stuff that I have uninstalled.
Thoughts?? Or am I kinda screwed at the moment with what I'm trying to accomplish because Amazon hasn't implemented some sort of installed/uninstalled "app filter" like I'm looking for?? THANKS!!
