HowTo: Using HTC EVO as a PC Webcam

I'm almost positive someone has posted a tutorial on how to accomplish this, but in the rare case someone hasn't, I'll go ahead and elaborate.

As far as I know, you DO NOT have to be rooted in order to use your EVO as a webcam for a PC.

Requirements:

Astro File Browser
Android Based Phone. (EVO)
USB Webcam Drivers For Windows
ADB USB Driver Installed On Windows
USB Webcam.APK (Only if you don't have access to the Market Place)

Let's get started!

1.) Turn on USB Debugging (Settings/Application/Development/USB Debugging).
2.) If you don't have the USB drivers for the phone installed already, refer to the ADB USB Driver link above.
2.) Download & Install Astro File Manager from the Market Place.
3.) If you have access to the Market Place, go ahead and search for USB Webcam, download, and install it.
- If you don't have access to the Market Place, and had a file browser already installed, download the USB Webcam.APK from the list above, and place it on the root of your SD card. Open your file browser on your android phone, direct yourself to the root of the sd card, find USB Webcam.apk, and install it.
4.) Download & Install the USB Webcam Drivers For Windows.
5.) After the installation, browse to Start, and launch the USBWebcam program.
6.) Launch the USB Webcam program on your EVO, plug in your usb cable securely into your EVO and PC, and choose Disk Mode. (Charge only might work, but I haven't bothered to test it.)
7.) Test the webcam on a webcam-based application on your PC. (Skype, Omegle, Chatroulette, etc.)

If all is well, it should work. If you get a green screen, make sure the application on the phone is still active. I've tested this on Oovoo, and it doesn't work. (But there's a marketplace app for Oovoo anyways.)

If you're on a 64-bit machine, you may need to install this
