~ Push Notifications On Nexus S! Important Issue

Hey please can you tell me if the Nexus S allows Push Notifications when you get an alert?
I have looked so much for an answer for this!

Like if you get a Facebook notifcation, Youtube friend invite or an MSN message, would it pop up to alert you when you have the Nexus on lock?

Please let me know as I am really stuck about whether to get this phone or not!

Yes it does. All Android phones do. Push notifications are dependent on the apps you're using.

Gingerbread in particular added notification bonuses for Facebook too. More Facebook notifications, like for example, friend requests, are supported on Gingerbread besides just message notifications.
