This is regarding the email app that comes with android, (or my phone, which is HTC Inspire) I cannot seem to get verizon incoming and outgoing POP settings to work. The error I get is Authentication failure, and I have checked my username and password many times.
I use:
incoming.verizon.net : port 110
outgoing.verizon.net : port ???
as for username, I have tried with the @verizon.net and without it.
Outgoing port is blank because I get the error before I get to the outgoing settings.
I have searched on the verizon.net website and couldn't find "official' settings.
