Credit Card Remove APP Market

So I had a question about Credit Card info, after you put it in when purchasing an APP from the Market and it saves your CCard info, how do you "Log out" or in other words stop it from having my CCard info auto logged there under "Select Card" so that if someone is using my phone they cant purchase APPs without having to re-enter all the info?

I have two Anroid phones. A new phone and old one. I want to remove my CC details from the old one, (Market Place) so I can sell the phone.
I want to be able to still use my CC details in the NEW phone.
If I remove my details in my gmail account setup, I wont be able to use it in my NEW phone.
If I remove my gmail account details from the old phone is this going to remove my CC details for use on the old phone.
Alternatively is there any way of totally resetting the phone back to how it was when I purchased it.

The credit card details are not stored on your phone, they are stored online by google. Therefore you are safe to do a factory reset of the old phone, which will wipe all personal data (although it will not wipe your sdcard) and won't affect your current phone's setup.

You'll have to enquire in your phone's section (see the list here) on how to do a factory reset.

Take this further...
I purchased a game for my son on HIS phone. Now, he can buy anything. (I did not know this would happen.) So, I deleted the credit card from Google checkout.

However, when I go to buy something through Google checkout in the future, I will recreate the credit card. Will HIS phone link to that credit card again?
Thx.

Adding a credit card to use in the market adds the credit card details to the gmail account being used on the phone at the time, and it will stay attached to that gmail account until you remove it as you did before.

So if you purchase something on your son's phone with your card, then yes it will relink it's self to his gmail account as before. If you purchase something on your phone, it will link to your gmail account, not his.

So as long as you aren't sharing a gmail account with him, using it on your phone wont activate the card on his account, no.
