So basically I have an iphone3g and have been waiting on an upgrade because lets face it the iphone4 is nothing special and I haven't really been excited by the att android offerings until now. Unfortunately my waiting may be up because my wife's phone has a battery that is shot and she wants a new phone. We typically upgrade at the same time just because its easy to keep the contracts ending at the same time. I am not one that will buy an out of contract phone just to upgrade because while I use mine heavily I just would rather spend the money on other toys.
The question is, while I like pretty much everything about the infuse do you think it will hold up to a 2 year contract or will it be painfully slow in 6-8 months once things start becoming more and more optimized for dual core phones. I'm highly concerned about it just having 512mb of memory and it being able to keep pace as a result.
I kind of feel like it might be smarter to wait another month to see if HTC releases it's "holiday" coded phone or if the galaxy s2 hits the US shelves because they would weather a 2 year contract better.
