I'm on a family plan so it listed my upgrade price as $149. It shows as backordered though - shipping estimate is 8-9 days.

People here get that, but most not even get it and then get smacked with the reality after the 14 days. The US version should not have been bloated, since not enough space for it. 226mb range is pure nuts and shows VZW marketing are operating with horse blinds not seeing this.

But on a different note, watched Chris Video of it and the phone looks so tiny compared to other 4 inch phones i've used(Xperia X10, Samsung Captivate and Vibrant)

Yes realize that but as I said, based on the videos I looked smaller than other 4 inchers i have owned...

Apps2sd does not put all of the app in the sd card. All apps leave a core for security and app design reasons. The amount can range from a few hundred KB to 30mb. Games and media apps tend to be heavier, but not always.

DeadlyD can give you insight, since has been dealing and managing it on his Play. Catch is you need mess with ADB or be able to root and use Titanium to make some more space.

Managing space isn't so great a deal.

Root with Gingerbreak, use Root Uninstaller (free market app) to get rid of whatever bloat you don't want (good safe removal thread over at XDA), then just connect up & adb setinstalllocation2.
