Pretty much sounds like either the inside of the speaker grill, or maybe the mechanism from the inside of the camera? Wherever its coming from, it's annoying and shouldn't exist on a phone that costs $299 out of the gate on contract...

Any one else got this going on?

Lol...that rocker on the Fascinate was insane....I tried out like 15 of em before walking out of best buy with one. Must be a Samsung thing..

Never had it on my original Nexus S though. I wish VZW would just get the Nexus S it was a GREAT device!
Anyway I am thinking of the Charge or the LG Revolution. Is the Charge good?
I mean, call quality and signal. I know my Fascinate suffers a little from the "Death Grip"

Give me the low down, LOL

I have this same issue, i actually took the sucker right apart just now and it doesnt seem to happen when the inside case is off (mobo exposed).

i did discover that the camera is nearly freely loose as well as the headset jack, along with the speaker cover being slightly wiggly too..............

its a new undamaged phone.

i gave the camera a tiny dab of glue just along where it meets the plastic housing separate from it, didnt touch the headset nor speaker because the sound emanates from exactly where the camera is. it seemed tight before i screwed it all back together... still rattling :(

i THINK its actually the 2 mobo chips colliding? it only happens when i tap the phone perpendicular to the screen, tapping the side makes no noise...

side note: i may have deleted my camera firmware somehow this morning... it still takes pics but if i am in an incandescent lit room, any solid colors (walls) turn up terribly grainy... outdoors it takes razor sharp images of grass? any ideas?

I do think it's normal to have rattling sound near the camera. My other HTC phone was like that too.
