Any new 'Super' phones coming out soon?

I'm on AT&T and I will be getting an Android phone but I wanted to see if I should wait for a new phone to come out.

I have to buy the phone by June 19, so I can't wait too long.

Is there somewhere I can go to see what phones will be available on AT&T by then?

Samsung Galaxy S2 is the one I'd wait for. Unfortunately it's going to be much later than June.

Thanks AndriodSPCS, I'm trying to figure out when the Galaxy S2 is coming out. I can put my SIM in an old Blackberry until it comes out.

I can't get any specific dates, but I assume they are going to announce it at the Samsung event later this month.

However if anyone has any decent idea I would love it hear it!

Available - Samsung Galaxy S2, HTC Sensation, LG Thrill 4G, Motorola Atrix.
Coming soon - LG Optimus 3D, Motorola DROID BIONIC, HTC EVO 3D.

The Evo3D is releasing in the US probably in June or July with Sprint.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 is set to hit the US between July and September (probably) with AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint.

If you absolutely have to have it by June 19th, then the easy answer is to buy the best phone available between June 17th-19th. After all, since you seem to have no flexibility with buying a phone after the 19th, a phone released on the 20th cannot possibly appeal to you. As a result, knowing what might come out doesn't matter, since you have ab absolute end date in mind.

So take some time to relax and ignore the market, and a week up to your purchase date, do some research on the best phones out, plus what should be coming out that week only.

I've googled Galaxy S2 availability to no end, and no word yet on availability.

Maybe the other poster meant Galaxy S 4G, which is not the Galaxy S2.

+1. Shop what's available. Add whatever comes up to your possibilities. I wouldn't expect much with a Jun 19 timeframe. In any case, if you don't have to decide until June 19th then don't worry about making a decision now. Just compare and keep in mind what you prefer.

You also can trade up to 30 days after your purchase. So if you snag something on June 19th, you do have until July 19th to trade it for something different. That is, if you're physically capable of trading it in. I don't know if you're off to some business trip or whatever.

Is there a reason you have to get it on the 19th? Is your contract ending? If it is you don't have to go out and purchase a phone that day, you can go as along as you want. I have been contract free on At&t (rhymes doesn't it?) for a year now. Deadlines suck because then you get only what's out and not what you want. I am currently praying every night that At&t gets a decent HTC phone.

First of all, thanks to everyone for all the info and advice.

That being said, the reason I need to make a move is I just got a BB Torch and compared to Android and iOS it's terrible so I want to take it back before the 30 day return period ends.

I think I will just take the Torch back and use my old BB or iPhone until the Samsung GS2 comes out.

However I am very tempted to get the Samsung Infuse because I'm very excited about moving from BB to Andrioid, but I'm sure my wife will be able to 'convince' me to stay patient.

I really wish Samsung would announce the release date. The cancelation of today's presser is not a good sign.
