No it will not. Whether a phone has multitouch is pretty much defined by its hardware. The Galaxy i5500 does not have the hardware to support multitouch.
can i just ask how long it takes the upgrade to finish the upgrade it seams to take ages...
I went on to Samsung kies and it tole me there was an upgrade so i went through it all on kies it came up with a box that was there ages then that dissapered then it came up with another box saying installing on phone then that dissapered and now on the screen of my phone it has a yellow triangle with android man in with a shovel and under neath it it says Downloading in yellow writing any ideas pls help me
Depending on where you bought it, it might not be a Belgian phone at all. I bought mine as a deal in the Aldi, which are apparently German phones (Aldi bought them through Medion is what the label on the box says).

Oh ok same story here then. I also bought mine in the Aldi. But how u mean as a deal? Together with their mobile network? Or just for a nice price? I got mine just for the nice price and its also with the medion label on the box.
It seems it is being slowly rolled out country by country, network by network. So far in the UK it seems to only be available on T-Mobile as of last week.
Hopefully patience will pay off for all eventually.
