Root CM6 and CM7 help?

Hello everyone. So i tried both cm6 and cm7 for some reason i don't know why but when i try to sync my contacts from my google account no contacts waited a full day on both and nothing, I also checked if sync was on and it was. ANyone else having this problem. Thnxs in advance.

did you go to setting/privacy and made sure backup google was check?

Thnxs it workd but had to into contacts and mess with who i wanted to be displayed

I had problems with this as well, and had to manipulate my contacts from my gmail account to get them to show up on the phone.

One question and one suggestion.

Question: Why can't you get CM6 or CM7, where's the problem occurring?

Suggestion: You would do a lot better making a new thread for this instead of posting in a thread that is about a totally different issue. You'd be a lot more likely to get answers that way, because more people would see it.

my thread is on All THINGS ROOT ASCEND! but im not sure why its not working or when the problem occurs! i tried everything, somethings wrong, i really want this 2.3 CM7

you might have a lazy ascend, but your not the only one tho!!!
