i just received my lephone last week and think that they already modified it. but would really like to know what i must do now to change the os. newbie here dont realy know! but one problem ive notice. the gprs and wireless network cannot work together. when i switch on the gprs/3g, the battery goes down quickly and when i turn if off i must restart the phone to turn it on because without restarting the phone, it does not indicate the 3g. dou you think that its a hardware problem or software.. 2- I looses network very often even with the metal back cover. any solution. please friend.

Hello I try to help you:
GPRS and Wifi not work together - it's feature no bug :) But I think that's OK.

3G battery consumption is more less as on 2G (gprs/edge) because there is different technical aspects, different frequency. I recommended to you use 2G network (it's posiible to set up on Settings).

Thanks man, that realy help, concerning my apn its web but do i need to put a mms proxy to make it work. without it, it does not work. any solution on that.

Thanks again

About setting of APN for internet or MMS you must check values from your mobile provider. Basicaly you must configure 2 APN one is "internet" for 2G/3G network where APN type is default. For MMS APN type is "MMS" other data what you need such as APN, username, password, proxy, MMSC, MMSport (i think that only this data are need) must be provided by your operator.
