If you go to Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog - All about Android and the DROID lineup of phones, Rooting, Apps, Reviews and Videos., they have posted two links for two different versions of Netflix, which the amazing guys (and gals) at XDA have released!

If the first link doesn't work, try the second link.

I haven't tried it, because, personally, I don't see myself watching a full length movie on my Thunderbolt, or any other phone. Maybe on a tablet, but watching a full length movie on a cell phone is, to me, about as appealing as taking wedding photos using a iPad2!

I am posting this because I happened to come across the article, and know that others have been eagerly waiting for Netflix for this TB.

Enjoy, and let us know if it works, and how well. (I wouldn't post something I haven't personally tried, generally, but I do trust the website Droid-Life completely) :D

Any one thinking the RUU leaks are just HTC's way of beta testing their update?

Sometimes I think that. I also think that essentially, HTC just releases some B.S. leak so that the real devs out there can do all the dirty work and then HTC takes the info and converts it into their own. Take for instance, the current problem of some people having bricked phones using the leaked GB build. It's understood why those people do it, but damn sometimes I wish they'd stop and let the public force HTC's hand so that they would correct releases sooner than later. That or at the very least, someone in HTC should allow a certain percentage of people to test the releases and report the issues accordingly. I don't understand why companies currently still have the stigma of not letting more public input when in fact, it's costing them (and the carriers they release their product on) more time and money than really necessary to create a wonderful product. Don't get me wrong I like my Tbolt, but I've never wanted to root my phone more to get the goodies that have been coming out like Netflix and Gtalk with video, but there's been too many issues with the stock build so why would I want to further my agony?

I'm beginning to think by the time I can watch netflix on my stock TB I will have to pay VZW for tiered data:mad:

I've still got 1 year and 10 months to find out, lol. :D
