Ok, I've been doing a bit of researching on Apps2SD, but apparently haven't found what I'm looking for. So I have a few questions, and if anyone's a little more knowledgeable than me, please help me out.

Is Apps2SD worth doing? And is there any risk at downloading a corrupt app and losing all of the apps again (or any other data for that matter)?

Is there still the 70app "limit" on the internal memory? Does that limit only occur on internal memory, or does it still occur when storing apps on the SD card.

How exactly does one go about using Apps2SD? There doesn't seem to be any real clear-cut answer to this around, and I'd like some clarification. I do understand you'd have to use a ROM capable of supporting it, which I am.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.

is it as easy as using the partition option on the recovery console? Do you use the first option "partition SD", or the third option "SD:ext to ext3"?

Sorry, I know it seems pretty noobish to be asking such simple questions lol. I just realized that I had like 68 apps on my Hero, and I actually use the majority of them

I really don't care for appstosd anymore. I had it on my phone ever since I rooted back in late November. Saves on internal memory but it had a tendency to force close a lot of apps out of the blue. There was a thread about this on XDA-developer.com. It's use at your own risk. Like I said it worked great and sped up my phone some but I got real tired of dealing with force closes every other app. Now that I don't have it anymore, I can honestly say that it helped in speed just a slight bit. I use Fresh 1.1 and I can barely see a difference now. I'm just patiently waiting for 2.1 to come out before I really get deep into rooting and appstosd again. Good luck.
