Samsung Galaxy S2 Mini - Full phone specifications


Now this would be a perfect phone, I find the galaxy s2 to big for me but the little brother is sweeeeet.

The size of the screen was one of the reasons I opted for the SGS2 so the mini wouldn't be for me. I hardly notice the size difference when holding it tbh and when I look at my iPhone 3G screen it looks TINY in comparison!

Same here, I prefer the larger screen. My Wife, however, doesn't like the 4.3" screen phones. So this might be something she would like.

it's not just a MINI but looks like a total downgrade from SGS2. will be interesting to see if this comes to light

Kind of funny them calling a 3.7 inch screen a mini, heck the iphone is only 3.5.

Personally I think this would sell to the masses better then the S2.

I think so too. My Wife and my whole family prefer the 3.7" and the 4.0" phones. I think it's just us "geeks" who prefer the 4.3"

No word on T Mobile getting the S2 so wishful thinking with the S2 mini.

Hard to believe T Mobile is not going to get any version of S2. As far as the whole AT&T merger it's going to take over a year just to get approved.

I would pick a 1.4ghz single-core over a 1.2ghz dual-core. That's just me though... I thunk multiple-core processors are over-rated. It's really only more useful if you are doing LOTS of things at the same time on your phone/laptop/computer etc etc etc...

However, the 3.7" screen still makes the S2-MINI a no-go for me.

are you kidding? dual core all the way! the galaxy S2 is so snappy compared to anything single core out there... it really makes things run faster. why would you even want to get a galaxy if you're not planning to rinse it's features? you sound like you want to get one just to text and phone people and do some other stuff casually.I..if thats the case don't bother, just get a cheaper handset.only get the galaxy S2 if you know you can take an advantage of it's features... then you'll appreciate the gorgeous dual core cpu.

That is the dilemma... I am getting this phone for development, but I don't want to compromise my everyday ( battery ) experience at the same time.

I've been averaging around 13 hours of battery life in the last few days. And I like to play around with it.browsing, games, music, video, downloading and trying different apps.... the battery life is great!

It would be much better if they have launched Super Lcd variant will all HW bell and whistles intact with same 4.3" screen most people will opt for SGS rather than this one, 3.7" pentile AMOLED with over-saturation is just plain wrong, Epic Fail i say.

It's super AMOLED the same as the S2.
