Help xperia play back button issue while playing snes

ok. Ive been having an issue while playing my snes games on my xperia play. After configuring the the buttons for the game pad i, if i hold the "O" button it completely takes me out of my game to the dashboard. I reconfigured an alternative button for this but im so use to using the "O" button. especially in Super Metroid. This is really annoying and was wondering if there is a way to disable this feature. Thanks my people

Are you using Snes9x? Go into the control config and remove the mapping for the exit button. That's what is causing the app to quit when you hit the 'O'.

You can still exit the app through the menu.

I have Snes9x and when i program the button: OPTIONS>KEY CONFIG>button A = O. I did this and thought it should work. I cant find "remove Mapping for the exit button". Where is this feature? sorry and thanks

When in the button mapping screen, scroll to the bottom where you can bind a key to EXIT. It should show O is already bound. Just tap it like you were going to bind it to something else, and instead hit the unbind button on the bottom of the screen.
