• Fixed a bug that caused the app to fail to restore the shuffle setting when restarted.
• Added a 4x1 Widget with album art, song info, and playback controls
• You can now long-press any song/artist/album/playlist/genre to add it to a playlist. You can also create a new playlist by choosing "New" instead of an existing playlist.
• Added a new "Folders" tab that lists any folders that contain music from your library. Clicking on a folder name will open a list of the songs in that folder.
• Added a new option in the Settings screen to choose which tabs to show in the main "Music" screen.
• Added a new option to show/hide album art in the "Now Playing" screen..

looks promising... I downloaded it and installed, but I don't have much music left to play on my SD card. moved it all to the cloud. Been trying Amazon and Google. Wish it could connect to either one, but obviously I understand why it can't. I am curious how long it takes Microsoft to send him a friendly letter.

Something I wish it did was allow you to use controls from the lock screen. Stock music app lets you but Feds does not.

Nope, if you want cloud sync right now, you need Google Music.



Does Fede's app support podcasts - downloading/bookmarking partially finished/etc?

I have it, and looks great. I'm a Zune user so it's really fast to pick up for me. Only thing is I've been using google music so I haven't been using it.

i agree...a widget(ive seen it, its coming), the equalizer, and lockiscreen controls would make it killer

I think it was yours, along with your deodex, crt off and multicolor battery.

If you are talking about the battery with the 90 in it that is battery indicator pro.

Unfortunately, this is a problem with Android. The apps like to fight each other for control over the BT commands.

You're pretty much restricted to uninstalling the stock music player, unless someone else has a better solution.

I thought he was working on the next, optimized version of LPP. I guess not anymore. With WinAmp and PowerAmp he has two huge targets to match and/or overcome. I'm not sure why he would enter such a flooded market instead of solidifying the one he practically started or at least was in on the ground floor.

He must have his reasons.

Installed Alpha 4 this morning and it worked fine on Froyo stock. Installed the OTA files for Gingerbread, now I get a force close everytime. Anyone know the best place to send bug reports to Fede?

I would try clearing the cache for the app. If that doesn't work try reinstalling it. Works fine on gb for me.

this was the only thing missing from my phone. i LOVED my Zune HD player, and now i have it on my DX
thanks for the link, i had the original version and had no idea other version were getting pushed out. looks like he has fixed all but one thing. i REALLY want the ability to "shuffle all" my music, then be able to go into my library, find a song, and add it as the "next song to play" even if the list is in shuffle mode. if he does this, he has more money coming his way. anything on top of that *cought* full EQ and album art download *cough* would be icing on the cake.

Is there a better way to submit bug reports than to just toss them out here?

I've been using Fede's app for the last couple of months. No problems until Alpha4 and Alpha5. Both of those versions play for a while (between 4 and 15 minutes) and then pause playback. Once I press Play, playback resumes for a while and then it pauses again.

Alpha2 didn't do this, or maybe I didn't play it long enough to see the pause behavior.

Anyone else seeing this? Any suggestions to try?
