Rubber cases = tear/stretch/expand. Never last, stick to pocket, there really is no upside. It doesn't really obsorb shock either.
Not in my experience with the Crystal Skin, W4lly...
Tear? If you took a hacksaw to it, maybe. Those who own one, you can relate to what I'm referring to -- it's not silicone, but a much tougher material that's still malleable.
Expand? If mine hasn't done so in several R&Rs, in 40degF temperatures... I'm not worried about it, shrinks right back to its original size, which is skin-tight on the phone, until I need it off.
Stick to pocket? Nope. Sticks to my fingertips just fine, but not my clothing.
Last? I'm willing to bet longer than the finish on your hard case.
No upsides? See above. Not to mention, cheaper. I do agree with Willard, a Crystal Skin in black would be sharp, but I like mine just fine. The aesthetics are the only reason I can think of to get your hard case, as it does offer different, fancier finishes... but my priorities are probably different from yours.
Not absorb shock? You mean where I drop it from chest height onto asphalt, and the battery door doesn't fly off, leaving a fully-functioning, scratch-free unit? Works fine to me...
Not picking a fight... just addressing your comments. Crystal Skin for me.
