Root Going to GB v4.5.596?

No, you lose only that which is in internal memory, such as personal settings. You should make a backup through your market app to get your apps back, or if you have titanium backup, that is a better way to go.
Your SD card will NOT be affected at all unless you wipe it yourself.
When you reactivate your device, it will guide you through the reload on all your apps that you d/; from the market, so you'll get those back.

So you didn't install the rooted .588?? :O

nah. no need to wipe anything. Just install the new system over what you've got. Do this though. go to settings -> about phone and make sure your baseband ends in .12p. If not let me know

Then go here and download one of the first two (odexed vs deodexed) and flash right over it in Clockworkmod recovery. G2G

This article explains Odexed vs. Deodexed VERY well and can help you decided what you want. tl;dr if you want to theme your GB install deodexed is the way to go.

What does that mod do couldnt really tell.

I like the CRT animation but what is the rotation about?

Do I install these after the OS or do I have to do them prior?

So put the Zip on my Flash card
Boot into recovery install?
then I add these custom things etc?
