Google Calender - Other Calendars

Do you mean you have multiple calendars within your google calendar? And you can view these through the browser on your PC but they aren't syncing to your droid? You must be missing a setting. I have 7-8 google calendars synced to my droid.

Open the Calendar App > More > My calendars
There should be a list of all the calendars from your google calendar.

I will add that if you have added calendars under "Other calendars" they may not appear and won't sync. For example, go through your browser and click on "add" underneath Other Calendar and bring up the "browse calendars". Here you can subscribe to calendars other people made for things like NFL teams and College teams, and random other things. For some reason, these don't seem to appear as calendars that can be synced.

i signed up for some sports calendars on the google too and its so annoying they won't sync to the phone. i just look at the calendar online once a week and copy to my calendar the games i want to watch so they show up on my phone and so that I can set a reminder for them.

you'll notice that those calendars, in addition to not syncing to the phone, also don't allow you to set reminders.

Tim, thanks for your help. The other calendars i was referring to were in fact calendars of the Phillies and eagles schedules which i was hoping to sync on to my calendar. If you ever figure out how to get these added let me know.

Thanks

That's funny. It was also the Eagles calendar that I couldn't get synced (Maybe its a sign to give up on the birds once and for all!). That and the Penn and Temple basketball schedules. I ended up making my own. Just copied the schedules from their websites to excel and saved as a csv file and imported into google calendars as a new calendar.

The odd thing is that I added the US Holiday calendar and that syncs fine.

You might be right about the eagles, it might be a good thing that i won't remember to watch their games. I also can only get the US Holiday calendar to sync which is why this is driving me crazy. Do you have a link or something with the directions on how to load the calendar via a csv file like you mentioned earlier?

Thanks

Back to the OP. I have an "Other Calendar" (a business partner's Google Cal) that shows up perfectly on Google Calendar but is not listed as a choice in Droid Cal.

What is STRANGE, though, is that it WAS visible up until recently. I was able to toggle it on and off on by Droid Calendar just fine. Now it's gone... yet the calendar has not gone away and is still active in Google Calendars.

Help?? I need that calendar!

Thanks!

I just discovered that if you click on the Google Calendar event (game), you can "copy to your calendar". Do this with all games, then turn off the team calendar (so you don't show duplicates)... then sync and games will show up on your phone (I use Bus Cal, but they also show up in main Gcal). Seems there should be a way to copy all at once... or not have to do that at all!

Some of them show up in the Calengoo widget, but not until I sync, then go into the main Calengoo window, then out again. Then I have: stardate, day of the year, US holidays, and friend's birthdays (now off since Calengoo shows it). However, Brewers games still won't show, even in the Calengoo window. And it doesn't show up as an option in Visibility/Download. Frankly, I don't want to have to manually download then reupload them, that's kind of silly.

I did try using Pure Calendar Widget as well, and it won't show any of the extra calendars. Very weird.

I have "Other Calendars" that I have had since before I had an Android (HTC EVO) and those sync perfectly fine to my phone, including US Holidays and a calendar my work uses to schedule hours. I also have college footbal caledars (public google calendars) and those do NOT sync. I could care less about this though... it is this next item that is a problem--

My new job made a work schedule and it is now, as of today, showing up in my browser under "Other calendars." However, after multiple manual "sync all" attempts, specifically synching my google calendars, and a reboot ("restart" on the new OS), this new work calendar won't show on my phone's Calendar app. This is extremely frustrating... any ideas?
