Amazon App Store Thread - Daily Free Apps

Plants vs. Zombies is the free app of the day in the Amazon market. You have to be on a wifi network since its 73MB (yes I know the difference between MB and Mb) and Amaozon won't let you download it unless ur on wifi. Unless you know a way around it of kourse, then nevermind the extra.

Who else downloaded an app from the Amazon Market just because it was free and like $10? LoL!! :p

Well, the app is in your internal memory, located in /data/app/.

However, since you are not rooted, you should probably install the file, then uninstall it. This way you would be able get it out of your system. Then just reinstall it on your next device.

Hmm, I can see my /data/app folder with ES File Explorer, but it appears to be empty. Is that because my phone's not rooted and I don't have access to view the files in there, or is it actually empty?

Works on a tablet but I'm highly disappointed the game is not in HD. Yes it will fit your resolution but the clarity leaves much to be desired if you ever seen it on IPad or Pc with an HD display. So Popcap is really disappointing me with there android releases so far since we been waiting a couple years now. Chuzzle doesn't even work on tablets not that I play it, but to me Popcap always meant quality. Well seems like they just throwing us Android users the scraps. Glad I got it free or I would be upset would of happily paid for HD graphics but not this since most of us already have 1 or 2 versions of the game. Was hoping for an IPad like HD version the graphics look they pop off the screen its so crisp.

Heres hoping.....Sad release

BTW don't mean to sound down the game itselft is awesome and grpahics arent terrible either just expected more from popcap. If you never played the game you want notice anything and have a blast. I'm still playing it over again on My Nook Color regardless. Must have for free and worth $2.99 if its the only version you can get.

Yes, you need all of that info. Once it is saved though you can use the same account you created for anything with Amazon.com (Kindle, MP3, other merchandise and so on). Amazon.com is one of the safest things you could use for online purchases so I wouldn't worry about them having the CC info.

When you "purchase" the free app (or anything from amazon.com that is free or paid) you will get an email confirming the order (for $0.00) and that item will forever be tied to your amazon.com account. You can also add multiple devices to it as well.

Yes, because you are not rooted you do not have permission to view the contents.

I could see all my apk's but pretty sure they were being saved on sd card (was using astro)

edit: not rooted
