Thanks for that Description - but it sounds like u use linux commands. Are you running linux on your pc or how do I start adb shell? If I am right windows CMD does not know that commands? There is a adb.exe in \MyPhoneExplorer\ but that seems not to know that commands either? If you use Linux - do I need any driver for debian (I have dual boot windows / debian so I could choose).
Have a rooted htc desire - with that same errory message from adfree app. The Host file on the SD Card is to be found.

You have to download the android sdk to run those commands. But like I posted above those instructions are no longer necessary because full nand unlock was achieved.
