Help Text messaging time stamp problems

Has anyone else noticed text msgs coming in with time stamps in the FUTURE? I just got one at 19:35pm with a time stamp of 23:28pm. Unless my girlfriend is sending me texts from the future, the phone is screwy. And this isn't the first time it's happened.

Now that text is stuck at the bottom of my messaging window and won't scroll up because it was 'technically' received later than all the new msgs coming in.

It just happened again. Both times were with a picture that was sent.

Any idea what could be making texts with attachments come through with a time stamp of the future? Roughly 3hrs 55min on each one.

have you tried changing your time format from 24hr to 12hr?
mine is set to 12hr and i've received 3 image attachments so far, all with the correct time stamps...

I'll try that now and get her to send me a test msg. Thanks for the idea.

EDIT: Ok, I think I found the problem. My time zone wasn't set. Was GMT0. Should be GMT-4. VERY strange though that it only screwed up texts with attachments....

Might be your time zone setting.

My time zone was set correctly, but I was using the 24 hour clock as well. I have changed it and will see if it happens again. Mine happened with straight text sms messages, no pictures.
