Help Speedtest results

I think I answered your post in the other thread , if not let me know.

if you have already run through the steps to force a data profile reset, then try a 5-10 minute battery pull, then if that doesn't fix it try updating your prl last (against what I normally suggest)

lastly..if all else fails...contact sprint and see if there is a tower outage.

I have had a tower out here at work for just about a year now.

Its a bit on the slower average side. Yes we should be around 1 meg or so DL speeds, but lately i am doing well to average 300-400kb down. Only on really good days do i get 700+ DL speeds.

what part of dfw... I Richardson-plano has been awful since release... at home I average 1.5 dl and 2.0 upload (east of Mckinney)

what is crazy is that since ATT changed whatever they did to HSPA+ both our phones on their web hit 4-5 mb dl and 2 up

I test near downtown. At 6am i can get 1 meg DL, but from 6-10 at night its 300K DL. I am sure a lot of it is due to congestion but still sucks.
NE Dallas on the Dallas / Garland border its relatively slow as well.
Whats interesting is i went back to my EVO for a day a few weeks ago and noticed an improvement in speeds. So part of my problem could be modem issue on my EPIC.
But when other people complain about slower speeds i put that thought on the back buner and go back to system loading.

I sure hope we get LTE in the future and WiMax gets phased out eventually.

I imagine they will have to. Hopefully I'll be ready for a new phone around that time haha
