Face recognition for security- Visidon

I just found this cool free app, Visidon.

https://market.android.com/details?id=visidon.AppLock&feature=search_result

It's the the best (If not the only) app that I have found that will detect your face reliably to unlock something.

Unfortunately it works only to lock applications. I would love for this app to replace my lock screen so that I could unlock the device with face recognition.

Is there some combination of apps I could use (WidgetLocker, Tasker etc...) to use Visidon as a lock screen.

Hope you like the app and thanks! :D

Did you fail Logic Class? I cannot believe you wrote this sentence.

It either IS or IS NOT the only app that you found. Did you find any other apps? YES or NO. Pick one.

If it IS the only one, then obviously it must be the BEST one you found and the WORST one you found at the same time. So, this tells us nothing about how well the app actually works.

If it IS NOT the only one, then which other one did you compare it do? How did you do the comparison tests?

How do you know it will detect MY face reliably? I don't recall you testing it on MY face. Maybe it only reliably detects YOUR face???

Maybe you should add some more qualifiers onto your sentence too. May I suggest in future spam/advertisements that you use the following sentence:

It's the the best (If not the only) app for Android (version 2.2) with an English language interface, a black background, and the inability to use it completely offline that I have found (even though I haven't been looking) using my home computer (I found a better one using my work computer) on a Sunday after 1:33 pm (I found a better app at 1:32pm) in the afternoon that will detect MY face (it wouldn't detect my dog's face, or my genitals - trust me I tried) reliably (how to determine what is reliable and what isn't?) to unlock something (other apps only use my face to lock things) except it doesn't work in bright sunlight, when I have a hat on, or on phones that don't have a front facing camera.

Ok, I don't know where all this came from...

If you want to be pedantic.... Let me explain myself:

I saw some apps that claimed to have face recognition, but had very poor ratings. I decided that rather than waste my time reviewing and comparing these most likely nonfunctional apps, I would simply make the assumption in my post that the app I had found (Being the only highly rated and functional face recognition app) was the best/only. I still don't see why my slight unclarity would really bother anyone...

When I said "...that will detect YOUR face reliably...", it was just a turn of phrase. I don't know if it would work on your face, or anyone else's for that matter. But I don't see why not.

I don't know why you think my post was "spam/advertisements". I just wanted to share this cool app with the forum, and see if anyone could help me with my problem.

It seems that you may dislike the concept of face recognition on a phone. I can see why (Sunlight, movement...), but if you don't want it, don't click on my thread.

Has anyone here actually tried the app? I think it would be much more sensible if certain members of the forum tried using suggested applications rather than leaving unnecessary and spiteful posts.

Device sub-forums are much more friendly...

That wasn't necessarily helpful here.
