Root Reboot

I just got my indulge about a month and a half ago, and just rooted it using the handy guide/app on this forum. I have a few quick question (hopefully)

Is there a way to add a reboot option vs having to hold the power button power off wait and then hold power button to turn back on?


One other question, my phone has sometimes issue with connecting to wireless or data networks. For the wifi if i go into the settings it says error under the wifi enable option says error about 75% of the time if i tap it will come back on and work, but sometimes it just sits there. as far as the 4g/1x i just got go in an out of airplane mode or just put the phone down for 15 minutes+ before it comes back an thoughts. Also sometimes the GPS even though enabled wont find any satellites while standing in the middle of a field with no clouds insight. I wanted to add that these problems were before the rooting.

I am using Juice defender ultimate to get better battery life, if you can recommend something better feel free to inform me. The problems above still occur with juice defender disabled. Could also be I am impatient, LOL

I wouldn't use juice defender. It disables your data connections and like you said then sometimes after it doesn't work.

I remember when I had the juice defender app... my phone was kind of jacked up. I would uninstall it and refresh your data connection.

Hit ##626* on your dialer and then enter 587846 then hit ok and you should see a list of options. Just hit done and now your phone should reset and be refreshed on the network. Hope this helps

For a quick reboot without having to press the power button try QUICK BOOT is a free app in the market.

I use CPU TUNER. i like it but have nothing to compare it too.

To reboot, you can also add widgetsoid. Free from the market and has a few great options. Plus, it's a widget, so it's easily and quickly accessible.
