Root Droid 2 global fission help

I'm trying to install fission rom manager lite on one of my employee's d2g, but when I click download from the teamdefuse website, it downloads a 0 byte text file. Is this because it needs to be downloaded on a pc and sideloaded? I know this is easier than i'm making it out to be!
