Price drops: TB for $99, Charge for $149, Droid Inc 2 for $49

I am in my 14 day window as well. How would I return it? Say that the price dropped I was under the impression that there needed to be something wrong with the phone for the return...although my has rebooted several times...

There doesn't have to be anything wrong. Its a satisfaction guarantee and if you are unhappy for any reason you just pay a $35 restocking fee and return or exchange it.

I would always recommend returning it because you only get 1 exchange within the 14 days and if you exchange for something else you end up not liking you are stuck with it.

But like Austin said, if your not saving at least $70 or so then its not even worth it by the time you figure the restocking fee and hassle of the whole thing.

My Thunderbolt has been rock solid since I bought it 12 days ago and I haven't had a single reboot (knocking on wood) and battery life is actually pretty good. Personally I wouldn't chance exchanging mine for fear I might get one that is constantly rebooting or dead in 4 hours tops...

Then your looking at saving $300 bucks and I would say go for it assuming that those were upgrades to existing lines and you still have your previous devices. If both those devices are new lines and you have to cancel the lines and everything to do it then the whole thing gets a lot more complicated.

So I think you would have to cancel the lines of service and everything, if you received free activation they can make you repay that too. So $70 in restocking fees, $70 for activation and you'll have to pay for any services/data you have used so far and loose your new numbers.... could get expensive and be quite the hassle.

My advice for the easiest solution to this problem, if your happy with your Verizon service so far, is to walk away from this thread and pretend like you never saw it. I have had some pretty good arguments with Version CS and retentions on the phone before and the results are never worth the stress it brings IMO. Your better off just to enjoy your new service and awesome phones and not put yourself through the stress...

On the other hand if you don't mind calling and explaining the situation and state that you want to cancel the lines because you payed $300 too much, then its likely that customer retentions might match the price or give your account a nice credit to keep you happy with your purchase and sticking with Verizon service.

Either way I would like to wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide to do and would like to also give you a warm welcome to the Android Forums :)

I just went to the link and it came up at $199 not $99, I just called amazon wireless and they said it is only if you are starting a new plan. We just started a new family plan and I started with my own phone so I had basically a upgrade available right now and they said it would be $199 for the phone.

I am not so happy now, considering I had a TBolt ordered thru VZW for $199 that should of been here tomorrow but I cancelled the order when I saw this.
