Hi all. Recently flashed the latest release of LeeDroid (June 1 release), and I thought I'd share early experience.
My main motivation was to improve battery life, and I've had mixed experiences so far. Yesterday I left the phone on my desk for 2 hours with WiFi and mobile internet on. I was shocked to discover that my battery lost about 20%, although i left synch on default. However, with WiFi and mobile internet off it lost 2% in 6.5 hours overnight.
I'm thinking that mobile internet is consuming less battery than wifi, although I need to do more testing.
Lesson learned? I think I need to try flashing the recommended radio (although this scares me quite a lot), in a bid to improve WiFi power consumption.
Otherwise, it's a slick ROM. Very smooth, and I'm loving the CRT animation. Might try the Sense 3.0 addon when I have the battery performing properly. Deffo gonna stick with it.
