Rom and recovery

I downloaded a new rom but on the screen it says add exchange account im not sure what to do. did i do something wrong. And there is no market on the rom cm_heroc_full-88zip. Im not sure what to do

Im back on 2.3.4 everything is grt except im at add exchange account. What am i suppose to do now. I was waiting to synch with google but i dont see it or the market. I tried to install gapps from a previous rom and now im stuck at the touch android to begin screen

It won't let you touch the android to start set up or that's when it asks for the account.

I messed up i tried to install gapps after i reinstalled 2.3.4 and i can touch anything it goes back and forth to android screen and tap. Well right now im at recovery screen again maybe you can help me i have the first 2.3.4 may 23 i think and the updated on you mentioned where the alarm clock works. What do i do. There is no acct screen except when i was just on there before i try to add gapps it wanted configure exchange acct and that really threw me off.

Did you wipe then flash the cm 88 the gapps or what?

You need the CyanogenMod 7 GApps which can be found here: http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-gb-20110307-signed.zip .

You flash them in the same way that you flashed the ROM itself. I have no idea why it would be asking for an Microsoft Exchange account.

I was on the latest GB from May when you helped me. But i played around it went to 2.2.1 roms and checking them out. i can get back to the 2.3.4 but i dont know if i have the right gapps

What should i do to get back to the latest restore backup. Im at recovery screen now

Look at my post above. I gave you the right GApps for CyanogenMod 7.

Simply flash those after the CyanogenMod 7 ROM. Be sure to do a Nandroid backup first and then a full wipe.

Did you make a nandroid of the first rom I helped you put on? Just goto recovery and choose backup restore then restore and your back to where you started.

And the cm88 you have is different than aospCMod 5/ 23 we first loaded.

You do not need to restore. Just make a Nandroid backup.

Wipe everything. Finally, flash the ROM and GApps.

Lbp i helped him last weekend root and flash aospCMod so I'm not sure if he knows there's a difference between the roms.
