Help Texts are all out of order?

I have a HTC Desire S and its my first Android ever! Its going brilliant but one thing is reeeally bugging me, the text conversation is all over the place, i've read other threads and the sms fix app doesnt work.. And it shows the right time, but its random.. Like:

You
Me
You
Me
Me
Me

Like everywhere.. Is there any fix? Im running 2.3.3 btw

I started a thread about this a few days ago but no one has mentioned a solution yet. It only affects me occasionally, but it's really annoying

I had this problem and it may or may not be the same case for you.
But i found that my time was wrong on my phone by a few minutes.
Therefore i may have been sending a text at 12:43 but receiving the reply to it at 12:40 because of my networks timing on the incoming message.
i hope this helps, if not, sorry but i don't know.

i think the time thing does matter , i got a reply at say 12.40 and i reply straight back and the time was out by two minutes and it put my reply before there responce lol kinda complicated and hard to explain but just make sure your time is correct

Have you set the "Adjustment Setting" to use "Use Phone's Time"?
