I like being able to post process any photos I've taken 'in phone' . Unfortunately every app I've tried saves the finished pic at a lower file size - e.g. pic say (which is otherwise excellent will save a processed 4mb file as c. 300kb).

I don't mind paying for the app and want to be able to adjust contrast, saturation, exposure etc.

Does such an app exist.?

I too use picsay pro. Have your photos decreased in resolution as well, or just file size?

Just file size iirc. Wouldn't e they be linked ?

Well higher resolution just means more pixels, which save 2+mb. So with the same amount of pixels(or more) I can see how it may be possible to lose a bit of quality by compressing the file, but for me it hasnt been noticable and shouldnt be after editing anyway. I look at my pictures on a 32in tv and the ones that looked good before picsay treatment come out just as good

Adobe also decreases the file size (and resolution).

Resolution (pixels/in) has a direct correlation to file size.

I am not interested that "it looks the same on my phone/tablet or computer/TV screen." I will be printing the pictures, sometimes as large as 8x10 (the pictures will originate from my DSLR camera). Pixel loss is a terrible thing for printing purposes.

I have been hunting for the same thing.

I am the self-appointed team photographer for a couple of kids' travel teams and want to start editing pics on the road after games. Resolution is key in printing (and yes, file size is directly proportional to resolution). If all you're looking for is screen resolution, then what is out there will probably suit your needs. My pictures have been used for posters ... so every pixel counts.

Waiting impatiently for a developer to step up to the plate ...

If you only want to crop your pictures, the try 'Photo Enhance Pro (Hi Res).

I cropped a 12 MP (5MB) picture of my Canon cam with this app.
Then I saved the cropped picture with about 11 MP (about 4MB) to the SD card.
At the settings of the app is the option to set the image quality to "Very high"
(note, that's not the default setting).

Thanks!

Before I can start post-processing pics for my teams I need a "locked ratio" crop option (I currently crop everything to a 4x6 ratio for printing purposes). I have been in email contact with the developer of Photo Enhance Pro and he responded that he has had a lot of these requests and would be incorporating this feature into a future update!

Hope is on the horizon!

My most recent baseball pics! (not edited on my tablet ... yet!)

Does PHP it have a resize option. I generally keep pics now a 720p (to display on the TV or PC). Tried the free version. Impressed enough to buy it if it have resize. The four sliders in one screen is hard to manipulate though.

I don't know, I've been so focused on keeping the size/resolution as high as possible that I haven't looked. I'm at work for the day, and have left the tablet at home, so I can't check until later tonight.

Mark (the developer) is very responsive, send him an email (through the Market "send email to developer" link) and ask.

I found an app that can resize and crop... Reduce Photo Size. No editing capability... but used in conjunction with Photo Enhance Pro, it could be very useful. You have to manually enter the size to see the full potential and not rely on the presets in the menu. Very clunky interface.

I didn't go further than the presets ;)

Thanks :)

Hi. Is there any new info for this issue? I've been using PicSayPro and I like the features, but even the high res looks craptastic on my computer monitor...I can't imagine what a print would look like! I just don't understand why somebody hasn't developed such an app yet...but then, I'm not technically inclined so maybe it's a lot harder than I think it should be. TIA for any help or suggestions!

The solution is Photo Enhance Pro HD :)
