Boot sounds...

I did a bit of searching and can't find the answer to this question, if anyone has an idea of where I should look please advise...

Is there a way to silence the phone while turning it on? I had accidently turned my phone off and caught it durning a class and not thinking about it turned it back on. I never paid much attention to the annoying boot-up sounds until my entire class was looking at me like "WTF?!"

LOL, that's funny. I wondered about that too. I think that is a system sound, if so turn it all the way down. I use audio manager.

you can remove the boot sounds completely if you root....

+1... I've had that happen to me as well. I really like audio manager. Just drop that volume to zero before you reboot. It's very convenient to have quick access to all the volumes in one place, too.
