Help How do I reset the "time since unplugged" time?

On froyo it resetted immediatly after I plugged it in,but now I gotta wait a least 30 minutes to 1 hour it's strange

Ok I guess I am not understanding. So when you unplug the phone and then go to Menu then Settings then About Phone then Battery and then Battery Use it does not reset the time on Battery. Or are you talking about while it is plugged in?

Ok so let's say you have your phone on battery for like 14 hours and then you plug it in to charge until it is full. Then you unplug it and then immediately check to see how long it has been running on battery? Why would you do that? Or you are checking it like an hour later and it still has the 14 plus hours listed? Also why are you checking the time on battery while it is plugged in? I have never done that before but I am charging right now and it has the time I had it on battery for listed and it just stays at that number. Now when I unplug and keep looking at it it does continue the original count. rather than resetting it. My guess is it has to be plugged in for awhile in order for it to reset or fully charged in order for it to reset. Having said all that it is possibly designed that way as they changed the name from Time since Unplugged to Time on Battery. Again not sure why it matters.

Ok after some trial and error I have discovered that MY device does not reset the time on Battery every time it is plugged in. It does however reset it every time I plug it in and charge it to 100%. So if I am getting low on battery in my car and plug it in to charge up a little, it pauses the time on battery while charging. If I do not charge it to 100% and unplug it the time on Battery then continues the count (If I plug in at 5hr 5m 43s on Battery and unplug it an hour later it starts counting at 5hrs 5m 44s) Now if I do charge it to 100% then it resets to count from 0. I have to believe it is designed this way and I am sure if you look yours is doing the same exact thing. If it is not, what is your current time on battery?
