Droid Charge or Motorola Atrix?

My AT&T contract is ending, and it's time to get rid of my iPhone 3GS. Should I stay with AT&T and get the Atrix, or should I go with Droid Charge?

I like to tinker, so openness is important to me.

The Atrix was tempting to me, but data tiering and REAL 4G LTE sent me to VZ and a Charge. My guess is the Atrix woudl have better battery life.

Go to VZ and get a Charge. Verizon's 4G blows ATT out of the water, and if you get it now, you can get set up with a 29.99/m unlimited data plan.

The Charge has an unlocked bootloader so that's one step closer to being more open. Also, samsung recently dropped of a GalaxyS II to the maker of the Cyanogenmod 7and said "hey, make it work on this."

So Samsung is definitely more friendly to the modding community than moto.

I love this phone more and more every day. I walked over to the big AT&T store after making my first sale (not really the first but the first one all by myself) at my new job, and what do you think it was....? The Charge, baby! I can't help but push people towards it, even though an Incredible 2 or LG Vortex would make me more money, but I'm still training so....

Anyway, went to AT&T and checked out the Atrix and the awesome Infuse. Now that is a BEAST of a screen. But the Atrix is so small and the screen is so lame and low contrasty that I really couldn't care less if it was quad core and cost $50. I can never downgrade from a screen this fantastic. The only screen nicer than this is MAYBE the Infuse, and only because it's 0.2 inches larger. I swear if Samsung and Verizon came out with a 5 inch screen phone I'd be all over it. I can also never downgrade in screen size either.

Also AT&T's wannabe 4G speeds were about as fast as my 3G speeds.

Here's some of what you get with the Charge:
The ever so sweet screen.
A camera lense that looks like the Autobot symbol.
Advanced noise reduction improving your phone calls to people.
Built in screen capture.
Audio adjustments like EQ and various special effects.
An awesome camera.
Verizon's amazing 4G speeds (where available)
Verizon's amazing 3G speeds
Installed 32gig SD card.

That's enough for now.
Yea so I think you should forget about AT&T unless you want some of that GSM cancer to go with the headaches you'll get from their lack of customer and signal service.
