Hello all, I was a happy user of 3g Watchdog and 3G Watcgdog Pro since I got my first Android, Xperia X10a last August. It was extremely accurate with at&t branded 1.6 and World Generic 2.1

I recenctly switched to the Atrix and the data counts are wildly inaccurate and all over the place. This weekend it showed around 19 mb and at&t showed 52mb.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Can someone recommend a data watch widget/app that's accurate on Atrix/2.2?

I travel overseas and not having accurate tally of roaming data is quite scary.

Thanks very much. :)

With at&t I dial *3282# then check it against the data usage app periodically.

He's 100% right. The ONLY way to truly check. It doesn't matter what 3G watchdog (or any other market app) thinks you've used if AT&T thinks you've used more. You pay your bill to AT&T so go by what they tell you.

PS if you feel checking occasionally with AT&T is something you'd forget, I've heard of a market app that is AT&T developed that tracks your data. Haven't looked into it, but maybe its worth a peek if you're forgetful.

I'm on the unltd plan but i have heard people say they get the text when they are nearing their plan limit, anyone on a teired plan get this text?
I am on the 2gb plan but have never exceeded 1gb, so no text.

My concern with accuracy is overseas usage. I subscribe to the 50mb roaming data and need accurate count. At&t website will unnecessarily cost me data to check.

The 3g Watchdog was extremely accurate on my 2.1 X10 on my last two trips. My Atrix is fighting it. Lol.
