sim unlocking xperia x10

I have Xperia x10 which is tried to unlock multiple times with wrong codes.
Some people say the phone is hard locked.
Is there anyway that can unlock this phone?

Please experts help....help....help

Remove battery for 5 minutes, then plug back in and turn it on?

I am not sure. Do you mean the pattern screen or something else?

Thank you so much!! to every one else yuo must have alot of patients. i almost broke my phone i wanted to slam it on the wall from the irritation. This works even if you dnt have a shortcut on your home screen.

1) open slide, go to account info screen

2) go to emergency call (now heres where its frusterating BE PATIENT)
press the <- back key

3) very quickly press menu, Repeat 1 and 2 then hit security.

4) after this keep reapeting until you complete the patern removal.
the screen will quickly in a second keep going back to the slide screen keep repeating step 1,2. When the phone takes you back to the slide every time you repeat step 1 and 2 when you hit the bak botton the screen will be exactly where you left off.

what you got to go to is Menu, Settings, And Uncheck the (require pattern box) then the tricky and most hard part is entering your pattern You only have 1 second to do so.

*This only works if you know your pattern. My phone got locked because my nephew was messing with it.

Hey Beau. I was talking about network sim unlock.

Thanks. By the way do you know how to unlock Xperia x10 which is zero sim attempts left.

I am not sure. I have read that if you pay to unlock SIM you can fix it...where you plug the phone in USB to your computer to unlock.

I don't know if it locks the SIM or the phone. Can you just get another SIM or can you just reflash the phone? I don't know.

Just saw this link.

Will we be able to reset NCK counter and/or unlock nck with root access? - xda-developers

Download the tool mentioned by KTP and download ur appropriate version for ur x10i / x10a. Follow the instructions and upgrade it. No need to unlock...this will freshly install android2.1 and enjoy the unlocked phone...

this wont affect a network simlock, this is just the firmware.
to unlock the phone from a network, you need an unlock code which you can try get from your carrier if they supplied the phone or one of the various places online which you will have to pay for.
i dont know where is best to get a code from but the way to use it is to put a different network sim card in, the phone should then prompt you for an unlock code.
if ou use too many attempts i assume your phone will lock itself then you will require to enter a PUK code? not 100% sure on that as its not happened to me in many years.
