:thinking:I created a Ringtone from a MP3 File on my SD Card. It shows up as a ringtone in the list. I'm trying to delete the Ringtone, but I can't figure out how. I even deleted the MP3 off the SD Card, but the Ringtone still exists. Where is it stored and how can I delete it?

ok i did add the DROOOID mp3 notification tone to my phone a week ago.

it is annoying so i dont mind deleting it to try and answer this.

i mounted the SD on my PC and naviagted to

SD:\media\audio\notifications

deleted the droid.mp3

remounted the sd to the phone

then i went to handcent, menu, settings, notification settings, and the tone is no longer there.

i notice that i had a ringtone folder too but it wasnt in there in the first place.

maybe do a search for *.mp3 while mounted to your PC and see if it is hidden somewhere?

Candyman, I have deleted some files and programs on accident that have deleted all my pictures and makes my music unplayable. and when i open the music player it says theres no music found. please help me fix this

lol its *Caddyman* ...and it looks like this is going to be his thread here on out.....but what did you 'delete' causing your music to be 'unplayable?' If you didn't delete the .mp3 files themselves, nor uninstall the music player I'm not sure I am following you. You deleted a program?

Did you reformat your SD card or something? Did you check if the files (songs/pics) are even still on your SD card?
