I also heard that the Samsung Galaxy S2 will not have a slide out keyboard. I don't think Sprint has any plans on making another smartphone with a slide out keyboard in the near future, so I will be getting an Epic here in a few days!

If you want a new smartphone with a keyboard the LG Optimus Slider was leaked off the Sprint Roadmap and it should be like the G2X with a Keyboard and is rumored to be released in September, so I would wait for that.

Not saying you're wrong, but a slider version of the g2x isn't really exciting me.

Well its probably going to be the best slider (if not the only) we get this year, so I was just putting it out there for people who are looking to upgrade to a more future-proof phone with a keyboard.

P.S. I love the Samsung Epic so I'm not trying to down it or anything, I was just saying if you need a new phone with a KB, the Optimus Slider is the way to go. I on the other hand will be getting the Within :)

That's still the "only" thing leaked as proof of what the Sprint version will be. So far seeing the AT&T version in a dock is the only real proof I'll put stock in of an official US SG2. Not saying you're wrong, but a slider version of the g2x isn't really exciting me.

Take it with a grain of salt, because I don't know this guy from Adam, but have a look at what this guy has to say..
