Is there a way to update the PRI VERSION? I notice my stock rom EVO has a newer PRI VERSION than the one included in fresh's rom.

Quick google search says PRI= Primary Rate Interface and deals with the signal and signal strength, which i think might be important to keep updated.

I have this same question so i'm gonna have to bump this thread. I'm running stock 3.28 with a PRI version 1.34_003 and a PRL 60670. I just updated the PRL but i cant seem to find a way to update PRI. I did flash new radio and WiMAX update.

This is very YMMV but some are reporting that this works for updating PRI. I tried to do one of the methods a couple of times with no luck. I then decided to give up. You know how the old saying goes, if it ain't broke, dont fix it.

Well after half a day i was able to update my PRI to 1.40_003 I tried just about every way i could find, and probably had just about every problem i could come up with also (bootloops, bad nands etc..) I follow the technique here a few posts down about flashing 3.26, then the ##786# yadda yadda flash fresh and check to see if it updated. Mine did only after doing all of that. I then switched back over to my clockwork recovery and restored my nandroid and am good to go with the updated PRI.

Let me tell ya though, what a pain. Watch, probably wont even make a difference anyway.

you have awoken and ancient thread and i doubt he responds as that was like 9 months ago, probably had a baby since he posted that...PRI can be flashed like anything else. Thats how we update it, there is a thread on xda regarding all the evo radios, just google that to get all the most up to date radios if you need.

PRI is what it sounds like, the interface between the tower and your phone. Not sure the specifics really but it deals with how your phone communicates to the tower and vice versa. It doesnt really need updated but an update may help with signal and battery life, in most cases people downgrade though. Usually to 1.77 seems phones sleep the best on that PRI.
