With all this stuff about radiation and considering how much I'm on the phone in the car, I decided to switch to earplugs. I got this 30 dollar rubber tipped pair from Verizon called "mega bass" or something. If you drop one earplug it acts as a headset and the call quality is great.

I do have a bt earpiece, but they say that's not a guarantee of no radiation either. So, back to a wire. The bonus is that it plays music on the DROID X amazingly. AMAZING!

I had no idea how good a music player the DX is. I feel like I've just rediscovered my phone. :)

From your title I first thought you were switching phones and was like :( then I read it and was :D

That's cool that when you drop one it turns into a headset. Luckily I don't talk on the phone much so that radiation is staying away. If you really worried about the radiation you should get a hip holster. Don't want that radiation down where it counts lol.

I did that on purpose. I'm a bad boy. :) I have my mods and I'm set for awhile. :)

OP, do you happen to have a link?

Nope.. got it at the verizon store, but I don't see it online. If you call you can get it prolly.

I use Skull Candy. I have 2 different pair, one w/ a mic that cost me like $60, and then I bought another pair for like $12. They are the best sounding $12 pair(no mic) of ear buds you will ever find, I promise. Skull Candy's buds have bass to them, not the tinny, trebly sound many have. They blow the Bose buds out of the water for half or 1/10th of the price btw.

Beats make a great ear bud too, but last I checked, the mobile part was not compatible w/ the DX. Always test your buds before you purchase as far as the mic goes, cause many do not work.
