Been playing with my new transformer and have a couple of questions that i have not found any answers for..help please:

-how do i switch between open/running apps?
-how do i turn off the "searching for gps" process at the bottom of the screen?
-i am using the default e-mail app. How do i log out?
-typing is very laggy, is there any way to reduce the lag. Occurrs with hardly any other apps open.

Thanks!

To switch between open apps use the rectangular touch control to the right of the home button. Pressing this wil bring up a ribbon of active programs to the left of the screen. Select the program you want by touching it.

I haven't tried to log out of the stock email client.

My gps only comes on when I use an app that accesses it. It doesn't display the dreading in the notification bar for very long. I never considered it to be a problem.

The browser is very laggy when typing on certain websites. I don't have a fix for you. The typing works fine in most applications.

I thought that list was of previously opened apps. I was hoping for a way to only view quickly those that are opened.
The gps issue is strange. I do not know what app is atempting to use it. Also in settings nothing is checked regarding gps

Use another browser other than the default. DolphinHD and Firefox work pretty quickly with the keyboard. Opera is supposed to be the best, but there's no flash support yet.

I don't believe you can sign out of the email app, if security is your concern, you need to setup a password or screen lock pattern.
I will check out those browsers. is there a way to import favorites from my desktop browsers?

Ok, i guess ill live with having to view all previously opened apps to view the curently opened ones. I am now using dolphine hd-much better! The gps problem went away and i dont know why. I will take the advice on e-mail but it just seems to me there should be a way to log out. Perhaps with another e-mail offering. Thanks guys for the help

Opera uses Opera Link, that syncronizes all your Opera-installations no matter the device. So if you add or delete a bookmark on your desktop computer, it will add or delete it on all other installations/devices you have linked together. Pretty handy :)
But as someone already stated, no flash support :/
